an Radiation Safety Office with RT Level II certification to join
our Industry Services team. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow
a versatile career in Industry Services! Intertek's Asset Integrity
Management team provides asset life management support to
infrastructure, facilities, and equipment through the conception,
design, construction, commissioning, operations, and
decommissioning phases. Intertek provides specialists and
engineering support in all areas of Asset Integrity Management,
including design, process safety, mechanical integrity, inspection
and maintenance, operational and process support, corrosion,
metallurgy, and risk analysis to provide you with Total Quality
Assurance. What are we looking for? The Radiation Safety Office
will support the Industry Services business by managing Intertek's
radiation safety program while also working in the field as needed
as an RT Level II Technician performing assigned inspection
activities to ensure that an object, material, or system complies
with applicable codes, standards, and specific job requirements.
We’re looking for an experienced Radiographer with a minimum of 3
years’ experience. Additional NDT certifications and experience are

tuition reimbursement and more. What you’ll do: Manage radiation
safety programs Research new and existing radiation regulations
Measure product, material or facility radiation levels Supervise
personnel working with radioactive materials Radiographic Testing
Film Interpretation (RTfi): Applicable to film interpretation of
radiographs, evaluation of the Radiographic Method, and overall
evaluation of radiographic film to applicable codes and standards
acceptance criteria. Set up and calibrate equipment and to
interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes,
standards, and specifications. The RT Level II Technician should be
thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the Methods
for which qualified and shall exercise assigned responsibility for
on the job training and guidance of assigned trainees and NDT Level
I personnel. The RT Level II shall be able to organize and report
the results of any assigned NDT. Adopt an Intertek “Marketing and
Sales” attitude in all client, vendor, employee, and outside
contacts interactions. Actively pursue continuing technical
education courses or seminars. Minimum Requirements &
Qualifications Must have prior experience and certification as a
Radiation Safety Officer Must be qualified and certified as an ASNT
Level II in Radiographic examination (Code Quality) Minimum of 3
years field experience Hold a valid State card (required) Valid
driver’s license and reliable driving record (required) TWIC Card
(required) High school diploma or equivalent Able to pass a
physical exam A mindset of safety first. Preferred Requirements &
Qualifications: ASNT Level II certification in UT-Thickness; MT
and/or PT. CR experience preferred Familiarity with Microsoft
Office applications. The ability to organize and report test
results and send information to the office for data processing. The
ability to solve technical issues in the field. Rope Access
certification a plus
