General Internal Medicine Faculty Opportunities
South of Houston and Galveston, TX
The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) is one of the leading
research-intensive academic health centers in the nation, serving

innovative interprofessional health and science education through
cutting-edge simulation.
Department of Internal Medicine/Division of General Medicine seeks
highly motivated candidates who are willing to establish or
continue their careers as a faculty member in the Division of
General Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine at UTMB's
School of Medicine in Galveston, Texas. Interested candidates will
provide care to patients of the General Medicine practice in the
ambulatory and inpatient settings; participate in the education and
mentorship of medical students, interns, and residents; participate
in departmental meetings and committee meetings; and other
scholarly activities.

Requirements: - Successful candidates must have completed an
approved ACGME residency program, be board certified (or BE) in
ABIM as well as any Fellowships they may have completed. - They
must also be able to obtain a valid, unrestricted Texas state
medical license.
Compensation: -Income Package: -UTMB offers highly competitive
