Pediatric Ophthalmologist - Faculty Opportunity Full Time, Board
Certified/ Board Eligible and Fellowship Trained University of
Texas Medical Branch - Galveston, Texas The Department of
Ophthalmology at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB
Health) in Galveston, Texasis actively recruiting enthusiastic
Pediatric Ophthalmology candidates. This position will provide
cross coverage care in our League City, Texas City, and Galveston
locations. Care will include examinations, outpatient clinics, and
consults and will have administrative responsibilities including
supervising and evaluating residents, providing medical direction,
and participating in committee memberships at the department and
Health system level. Candidate Requirements - Candidates must be a
graduate of an accredited medical school with residency training in
Ophthalmology and a Fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and
Strabismus. The candidate must also be Certified/Board eligible in
Ophthalmology and have a valid unrestricted Texas medical license.
Salary is commensurate with Academic rank, experience, and
