Job Overview

Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist for our Galveston Texas team.

Responsibilities

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for accounts payable processing, invoice review and re-calculation, processing checks, filing, handling of petty cash and other accounting office duties.

Qualifications

Education

High School diploma or GED required

Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred

Experience

3 years' experience in accounts payable preferred

Experience working in a healthcare environment preferred

Knowledge/experience with purchasing software preferred

Other

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Current full vaccination status required
