An industry-leading company of integrity, service dedication and innovation since it was founded in 1952, Marsden has succeeded by dedicating itself to providing customers with an ever-expanding array of cost-effective, superior-quality commercial property services.Job Skills / RequirementsPosition Summary:TheHousekeeping Supervisor works with the Operation Manager, leads, and employees to plan, organize, and support the overall operations of the Housekeeping department to ensure a clean, safe working environment in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Hospital standards. Required Functions:

• Mandatory compliance with all safety requirements and procedures including use of personal protective equipment
• Preventive maintenance check on all equipment prior to use
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
• Must be knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the care facility
• Must have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department
• Maintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
• Maintains confidentially of proprietary and/or confidential information
• Must understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures Essential Functions:
  • Must have the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, to interpret the goals, objectives, policies, and procedures to support the EVS department
  • Must maintain the care of use of supplies and equipment, maintain facility appearance, and must perform regular inspections for sanitation, order, safety, the improper proper performance of assigned duties
  • Must be able to ensure equipment in return to a proper location in proper working condition and ready for the next use
  • Must be able to inventory stop to insure adequate supplies/equipment for staff
  • Must be able to identify additional cleaning needs and adjust the schedule to meet those needs
  • Must be able to make daily rounds to ensure that housekeeping staff are performing required duties
  • Must be able to routinely inspect facility cleanliness and safety ( i.e, storage rooms, closets, patient rooms)
  • Must be able to recruit, select, higher, evaluate, train, counsel, and supervise housekeeping staff
  • Must be able to effectively manage and operate within budget
  • You must exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
  • Must be able to concentrate, use reasoning skills in good judgment
  • Must be able to communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
  • Must be able to hear, see, speak, sit, stand, bend, lift, push, stoop, walk, reach, and move immediately during working hours
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule Qualifications:
    • Ability to work independently or in small groups with minimal assistance or supervision
    • Willing to follow established safety procedures
    • Attention to detail and passion for quality workmanship
    • Willingness to provide exceptional customer service to clients
    • Punctual and dependable attendance and willing to work extra hours as needed

      • Printer Travel requirements:Little to no travel requirements (less than 10%) Lifting requirements: MediumLifting of 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects Wayne up to 25 pounds Schedule:Days and shifts will be discussed during the interview.
