The Role • Combined inpatient pulmonary/ICU and outpatient pulmonary practice • Open ICU with diverse case mix • APPs provide first call and inpatient support 24/7 • Procedures optional • Sleep medicine optional Why Physicians Stay • Average physician tenure exceeds 10 years • Schedules created one year in advance • Administrative team manages scheduling and coverage adjustments • Team-oriented, collegial environment Schedule & Coverage • Morning inpatient rounds / afternoon outpatient clinic • 1:3 weekend rotation • Weekly rotating night call • Home call model with in-house NP coverage Compensation & Benefits • $450,000 base salary • Productivity bonus after year one • Partnership track • Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance • Full benefits, CME, PTO, malpractice Community This Southeast Texas community is known for affordability, family-friendly neighborhoods, and a relaxed pace of life.
