Job Details — Cath Lab RN / Travel RN - Location: Houston, TX 77094 — Houston cath lab jobs, Texas nursing jobs - Assignment Type: Travel RN (13 weeks) - Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab / Interventional Cardiology - Start Date: March 23, 2026 - End Date: June 20, 2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 10-hour days (06:45 AM – 5:15 PM) - On-Call: Rotating — 1 weekend every 6 weeks; 4–5 weekdays in a 6-week period (must be within 30 minutes of facility when on call) - Hours per Week: 40 Required Qualifications — Cath Lab RN - Active RN license (Texas or compact state) - BLS and ACLS certifications required - Minimum 2–3 years recent, relevant Cath Lab RN experience - Proficiency with EPIC and Mac-Lab systems - Strong knowledge of cardiac rhythms and telemetry monitoring - Experience with IABP, Impella, OCT, and IVUS devices Preferred Qualifications - Previous travel RN experience or experience working in high-volume interventional cardiology labs - ICU or telemetry background preferred Responsibilities — Cath Lab Registered Nurse - Provide high-quality peri-procedural nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures - Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; recognize and respond to arrhythmias and emergencies - Prepare, operate, and assist with specialized cath lab equipment including IABP, Impella, OCT, and IVUS - Document patient care accurately using EPIC and Mac-Lab electronic health record systems - Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly when needed, following facility on-call protocols - Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, cardiovascular technologists, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes What We Offer - Competitive travel RN opportunity in a leading Houston cardiac cath lab - Supportive team environment and opportunities to expand interventional cardiology skills - Assistance with travel logistics and onboarding for travel nurses Compensation - Estimated Weekly Salary: $2500–$2630/week Ready to take the next step?
