Job Description:
Memorial Hermann, a premier Texas health system known for

experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated
team. In this role, you will provide advanced nursing care across a
complex spectrum of clinical areas within acute care settings,
ensuring optimal patient outcomes through a compassionate,
patient-centered approach to health intervention and treatment.
This position requires a high level of skill, knowledge, and the
ability to work both independently and as part of a
multidisciplinary team. Conduct patient assessments and provide
diagnosis and treatment of acute health issues. Manage urgent and
emergent health needs of patients in acute care settings.
Collaborate with physicians, surgical teams, and other healthcare
professionals to plan and implement high-quality care. Monitor
patient outcomes and adjust care plans accordingly. Prescribe
medications and therapies, adhering to evidence-based guidelines.
Educate patients and their families on disease management,
prevention, and health improvement strategies. Ensure compliance
with healthcare regulations and maintain accurate documentation of
all care provided. Expert knowledge of acute care protocols and
procedures. Strong clinical skills in a high-intensity healthcare
environment. Excellent decision-making and problem-solving
abilities. Capable of managing multiple patient care priorities.
Proficient in using medical software and electronic health record
systems. Medical Insurance Life Insurance Current unrestricted
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas. Certified as
an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) by a recognized certifying
body. BLS/ACLS Certification.
