Addison Group is hiring an experienced Inpatient Coding Coordinator
to support one of our healthcare clients in a fully remote
capacity. This role serves as a bridge between coding teams and
leadership, focusing on quality assurance, audit reviews, DRG
accuracy, and real-time coder education. The position offers strong
visibility and long-term advancement potential. Key
Responsibilities: Perform second-level inpatient coding reviews
following audits, system edits, and pre-bill findings Analyze DRG
variances and support downgrade prevention efforts Educate and
mentor coders on coding accuracy and compliance standards Respond
to coding questions and complex chart scenarios Provide inpatient
coding coverage when workflow volume requires Track productivity
and assist with DNFC performance goals Stay current with ICD-10
guidelines and regulatory updates Qualifications: Required: 3 to 5
years of acute care inpatient coding experience Associate’s degree
in Health Information Management or related field RHIT or CCS
certification Strong analytical and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Preferred: Experience within large
multi-facility health systems RHIA, RHIT, CCS certification, CPC is
ok as well. Additional Details: Fully remote position Holiday
rotation required; select holidays may be worked Double-time pay
