Job Description Job Description Job Title: Radiation Therapist Job Category: Clinical Location: Houston, TX Position Summary This position is responsible for simulating radiation therapy treatment setups, performing dosimetric calculations, delivering radiation therapy treatments, and assisting with overall patient care management. Key Responsibilities Administer radiation treatments to patients with cancer or other medical conditions Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and medical physicists to deliver safe and effective treatment plans Explain radiation treatment procedures and plans to patients and address questions or concerns Simulate and set up treatment plans according to prescribed protocols Calibrate, operate, and monitor linear accelerator (LINAC) equipment Observe patient responses to treatment and report any concerns to the care team Maintain accurate and detailed patient treatment records Required Qualifications Demonstrated experience operating LINAC equipment Strong understanding of radiation therapy procedures and patient safety standards Licenses & Certifications (Required) Basic Life Support (BLS) ARRT – Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T) Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification from the Texas Medical Board (TMB) For more details reach at mdeshpande@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 518-831-7179.
