Registered NurseJob Summary:Competent Clinician. Possesses
knowledge and skill to meet standards for competent professional
nursing practice as specified in the Texas Nurse Practice Act.

Practice is characterized by predominantly interdependent

Tasks:Nursing ProcessAssesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and
documents the daily care of assigned patientsIdentifies actual and
potential nursing diagnoses/patient care needs; develops and

Administers medications and treatments and delivers culturally
congruent and specialty appropriate competent nursing care in

years of inpatient hospital experience as an RN with at least two
(2) years in specialty area assigned (or similar experience) within
the last 2 years.Must have current BLS and PALS certification
obtained through American Heart Association (AHA)EquipmentAble to
use equipment and related supplies for a selected patient
population.Able to use mechanical devices, such as those used in
cardiopulmonary resuscitation, oxygen administration, and
intravenous therapy. Including point of care testing (POCT) and
quality requirements for that testingAble to use related computer
equipmentWork EnvironmentsWork in a high stress environmentWork
environment is in a comfortable indoor area.Conditions such as
noise, odors, cramped workspace and/or fumes could sometimes cause
discomfort.Moderate to extreme physical effort may be required,
