Manager, LAH Support
The Manager of LAH Support oversees the needs of the Support Team
in the Life, Annuity and Health Division. This may include
providing direct reports with guidance, mentorship, and training on
issues that arise; reviewing special or unusually complex reporting
needs; as well as ensuring the teams' capacity while remaining
innovative by solidifying key goals are met. In addition, the
Support Management monitors system and data access, production
volume and workflow,as well as evaluates processes and procedures
to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the Life, Annuity and
Health Support organization overall.
- Manages operations and supports functions within the
unit/department; may include designing, developing, implementing
and maintaining technical solutions for the needs of the
- Develops and maintains the support of security documentation
and audit reports and responds to security questions from other
- Responds to inquiries and complaints from other
- Prepares and submits regular reports to upper management.
- Manages and operates within the allotted budget.
- Works with the division manager to solve complex issues
relating to security or the staff.
- Manages discussions with employees to create plans for
development, areas of strength, and opportunities for growth and
- Conducts quality assurance audits on reporting time frames and
departmental security tasks.
- Manages control audits and provides updates on audits and HIPAA
incidents to upper management.
- Manages the business associate agreements stored for existing
relationships in the HIPAA security office.
- Four years of equivalent industry experience or a bachelor's
degree with two years of equivalent industry experience
- Management/supervisor skills required.
- Advanced understanding of the insurance industry required.
