General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall direction,
coordination, and evaluation of a Playa Bowls location. The Manager
carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Company
policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include but are not
limited to; interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning,
assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding
and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving
problems. The General Manager is responsible for a full team of
Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Members. If you enjoy

YOU'LL DO Check products to ensure consistency, palatability, and
flavor conformityInvestigate and resolve complaints regarding food
quality, service, and accommodationsSchedule and receive food and
beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents to verify product
quality and quantityMonitor food preparation methods, portion
sizes, and garnishing and presentation of food to ensure that food
is prepared and presented up to Company standardsMonitor budgets
and payroll records and review financial transactions to ensure
expenditures are authorized and budgeted by utilizing appropriate
computer systems and softwareSchedule Team Members hours utilizing
appropriate systems/software and assign duties to ensure economical
use of food and timely preparationMonitor compliance with health
and fire regulations regarding food preparation and serving and
building maintenance in lodging and dining facilitiesKeep records
required by government agencies regarding sanitation, and food
subsidies when appropriateEstablish and evaluate standards for
personnel performance and customer serviceReview work procedures
and operational issues to determine ways to improve service,
performance, or safetyPerform some food preparation or service
tasks such as clearing tables, re-stocking, and serving food and
beverages when necessaryMaintain food and equipment inventories and
keep weekly inventory recordsOrganize and direct worker training
programs, resolve personnel matters, hire new staff, and evaluate
employee performance in dining facilitiesOrder and purchase
equipment and suppliesAssess staffing needs, and recruit staff
using Company methods such as ADP WFN, advertisements, or
attendance at job fairs Arrange for equipment maintenance and
repairs and coordinate a variety of services such as waste removal
and pest controlUtilize point of sale cash register. Count money
and make bank depositsFill out business or government forms,
maintain records, reports, files, and safety reportsAdhere to
Company opening and closing procedures and maintain accompanying

YOU'LL BRINGCustomer Service - Knowledge of principles and
processes for providing customer service. This includes assessment
of guests' needs, meeting quality standards for services, and
evaluation of customer satisfaction.Administration and Management -
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in
strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling,
leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of
people and resources.Supply Chain - Knowledge of raw materials,
supply processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for
maximizing the effective supply and distribution of goods.Personnel
and Human Resources - Knowledge of principles and procedures for
personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and
benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel
information systems.Sales and Marketing - Knowledge of principles
and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or
services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product
demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control
systems.Communication - Speaking to others to convey information
effectively. Knowledge of the structure and content of the English
language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of
composition, and grammar.Active Listening - Giving full attention
to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the
points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not

accordingly.REQUIREMENTSMust pass the required Playa Bowls Food
Safety certification requirement within 3 months of employment.Meet
business goals set out by the company in key metricsMust work a
minimum of 45 hours a week, including weekends and holidays but
expected to work as the business dictatesESSENTIAL PHYSICAL
FUNCTIONSMust be able to remain in a stationary position for
prolonged periods of timeMust be able to lift or otherwise move
25-40 pounds occasionallyMust be able to retrieve items from high
and low shelving, the fridge/freezer, and under
