Program Manager, SPPH Administration**Galveston, Texas, United States**Business, Managerial & FinanceUTMB HealthRequisition # 2205605**Minimum Qualifications:**Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent with 5 years of experience in program management.**Job Summary:**The Program Manager of Accreditation and Evaluation supports the implementation of the School of Public and Population Health (SPPH) evaluation plan and collection, organization, and dissemination of all accreditation and evaluation data, and other information for continuous quality improvement of SPPH educational programs, research strategic plans, community-based practice, and extramural service.**Job Duties:**+ Implements and maintains the SPPH evaluation plan+ Collects, collates (via reports), disseminates (to appropriate decision-making committees), and manages data relevant to program outcomes, Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) accreditation criteria, and annual reporting for CEPH, ASPPH, SACSCOC, T32 applications, and other similar requests relevant to education, research, service, and practice.+ Develops data collection instruments. Data collection includes, but is not limited to, faculty, alumni, student, staff, preceptor, and employer surveys; student focus groups; alumni and employer interviews; document (e.g., CV) reviews; course evaluations; and other student data.+ Provides reports to SPPH committees, as requested, including Executive Committee, Academic Affairs Committee, and Student Affairs Committee+ Organizes and maintains the Electronic Resource File (ERF) for CEPH accreditation to ensure appropriate naming and labeling of ERF folders and files and collecting, translating, organizing, and sharing ERF documents. This includes committee and other activity meeting minutes and reports; student handbooks, faculty handbooks, bylaws, policies, and procedures (e.g., academic, grievance, APT), and bulletin or catalog; all course syllabi with mapped competencies and assessment strategy (exams, homework, paper, presentation, etc.) descriptions; course evaluations; data collection instruments and procedures; summary reports of all quantitative and qualitative data for various stakeholder groups; samples of students' work, including deliverables for the Applied Practice Experience, Integrative Learning Experience, thesis, dissertation, or other final products with rubrics; and the SPPH strategic plan.+ Coordinates with the UTMB Academic Enterprise Web Communications and Operations Manager to communicate SPPH website changes and ensure all required and relevant information and documentation is up-to-date and included on SPPH website+ Ensures CEPH self-study and ERF contents and the SPPH website are congruent+ Oversees preparation of CEPH accreditation documents, including the self-study, and substantive change documents+ Participates in webinars, conferences, trainings, or other events to maintain currency on accreditation criteria and evaluation best practices+ Collects, maintains, and disseminates exemplars for faculty participation in faculty development, integration of research, teaching, and practice, and participation in extramural service; student participation in professional and community service activities; and student and alumni participation in events that assist with career readiness, job searches, enrollment in additional education, etc.+ Develops policies and procedures designed to meet or exceed the requirements governing academic programs and continually ensures progress on accreditation standards+ Develops and disseminates SPPH annual report and other written documents, as requested (e.g., handbooks, bulletin, catalog)+ Supports and creates reports for student competency assessment, program evaluation, and course evaluation+ Creates partnerships with faculty, staff, alumni, employers, and practice partners to develop alliances that contribute to the success of the SPPH mission+ Serves on the Accreditation and Evaluation Committee+ Serves as liaison between program and the accrediting body, Council on Education for Public Health+ Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure+ Performs related duties as assigned.**Preferred Qualifications:**+ Master's degree in public health, education, or other similar degree and/or 5+ years in higher education; Previous experience with CEPH or other accreditation processes+ Strong organizational and project management skills+ Strong written communication skills+ Strong interpersonal skills+ Understanding of goals of accreditation and evaluation+ Experience in project management, including establishing objectives, a work plan, evaluation plan, and reports+ Experience in using data collection programs.**Salary Range:**$68,307- $88,800 salary commensurate with experience.**Work Schedule:**Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm and as needed on occasion.**EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY:**UTMB Health strives to provide equal opportunity employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, national origin, sex, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, genetic information, disability, veteran status, or any other basis protected by institutional policy or by federal, state or local laws unless such distinction is required by law.
