Job Description:
Looking for the next step in your audiology career? Excellent
opportunity to provide management of daily clinical/operational
management and direct patient care at a leading academic medical
center. Our team of 12 audiologists, 3 audiology externs, and 2
audiology assistants provide a full range of audiological services
for all ages - infants to geriatrics throughout 4 clinic sites.
- Hearing aid evaluation, fitting, and maintenance
- Central auditory processing evaluation (behavioral and
electrophysiological)
- Electrophysiological testing (ECoG, ABR, MLR, LVR, P300, ENoG,
VEMP)
- Cochlear and bone-conducted implantables
- Vestibular testing
- videonystagmography
- rotary chair
- posturography
- vHIT
- iPass Position-related duties:
- Work with Center Director to identify, develop, and implement
long-range goals for the Center and Audiology section
- Manage audiology clinic and staff schedules, monitor
productivity and efficiency, and complete performance
assessments
- Provide direct patient care services
- Partner with the Center Director in recruiting and hiring
Center staff
- Act as a liaison with other departments, physicians, and
outside agencies Additional opportunities include teaching medical
students and ENT residents, preceptor opportunities with 4th-year
audiology externs, participation in clinical research, and program
