Position: Operations ManagerLocation: Galveston, TXPosition type: Full timeCompany OverviewWe were founded by a group of travel enthusiasts to bring a high-touch, tech-driven solution to vacation rentals in Galveston. Our team brings a diverse set of experiences learned by owning and operating vacation rentals around the country and years spent managing some of the finest hotels in the country.Position SummaryWe are looking for a self-starter with knowledge of the short-term rental industry. Most of our units are located in Galveston. While this position does require you to be in office, there is potential in the future to work from home some when the team grows. Galveston will be required.Responsibilities* The Operations Manager will be responsible for streamlining all procedures and updating all systems.Qualifications* Deep knowledge of the Vacation Rental industry and a thorough understanding of technology is required* Hospitality industry experience required, Vacation Rental Management experience is preferred* 5 years minimum experience as a General Manager, Director of Operations, Vice President, or a similar relevant role in the Hospitality and/or Vacation Rental Industry* Ability to create a healthy culture and positively motivate the team* Bachelor's degree required or equal relevant experience* Organizational meeting structure and accountability tracking experience (EOS-- meeting structure experience is preferred)Compensation* $50,000 base annual salary* Commission paid quarterly and is based on performance (up to $50k)
