Responsibilities: •With general autonomy, leads and directs a
senior, multi-discipline petrotechnical team to support the
evaluation and development of large- scale oil and/or gas field
development projects to be considered for investment or already
contracted by Halliburton. •The Technical Director provides
direction to Technical Managers and Sr Managers managing individual
asset teams. •The Technical Director effectively interfaces with
Business Development, Commercial, and Asset Management counterparts
•Major responsibilities include organization and management of a
core team of senior geoscientists, petroleum engineers, technicians
and economists to support the required evaluations. •Additional
responsibilities include implementing best practice processes to
support the efficient and effective evaluation, well engineering,
and field development planning work required as part of the project
development process. •Provides effective coordination of technical
resources working in other Halliburton Product Service Lines and
Regions to support analyses of new opportunities and oversight of
assets under development. •Ensures the technical quality of work
related to such evaluation and project field development planning
work is both accurate and timely. •Conducts oversight and peer
reviews of active asset developments Qualifications: •Requires an
undergraduate degree in Geoscience, Petroleum Engineering or other
applicable Engineering disciplines. •Minimum 20 years of relevant
industry experience, including management experience.
