their whole selves to work. About The Role The Assoc Dir & Actuary,
Business Planning and Legal Entity Forecasting will be responsible
for producing forecasts for Bermuda based reinsurance entity
(Corebridge Insurance Company of Bermuda – CICB) under US GAAP,
local STAT and Bermuda Economic basis. This position would also
analyze and present financial projections to senior leadership and
assist in making key capital planning decisions. In addition, this
position would be responsible for producing financials
sensitivities to macro-economic changes and other strategic
activities for CICB and other Corebridge Fleet entities. This
position will work closely with segment Corporate FP&A, Bermuda
finance, Segment CFOs, Actuarial, Investment Management and Capital
Management teams to develop a comprehensive analytical package for
financial results. This role will also play a key role in
re-engineering and improving our forecasting capabilities.
Responsibilities Manage planning and forecasting processes for
Bermuda captive which involves modeling the economic balance sheet,
solvency requirements and local statutory financial statements.
Produce standardized analytical package for Corebridge leadership
communicating CICB financial performance under US GAAP, Economic
and local Statutory lenses. Forecast reinsurance capital synergies
between US and Bermuda insurance companies Provide recurring
statutory financial forecasts to meet rating agency, regulatory and
capital planning needs. Model CICB and other fleet entities
financial impacts for sensitivities to macro-economic factors
(interest rate, equity and spread) & proposed strategic
transactions and communicate the results to senior leadership and
assist in decision making process. Build financial forecasting
models in Planful forecasting tool, as needed Skills and
Qualifications FSA / near-FSA or CFA designation with 5 years’
experience in insurance industry or 10 years’ experience in
financial planning/forecasting in insurance industry Demonstrated
strong analytical and problem solving ability Coding and building
database applications / interfaces (SQL, Power BI, Python, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Actuarial science, Mathematics,
Finance or a related field. Direct experience or exposure of U.S.
GAAP, US Stat, and Bermuda Reporting (BSCR, Economic Reserving,
Scenario Based Approach Reserving) Experience working in a large
and dynamic organization. Big 4 or industry experience a plus.
