Job Summary: The Senior Corporate Accountant is a key technical lead responsible for the U.S. financial close, consolidations, and multi-entity reporting. This role bridges the gap between operational data and executive decision-making, ensuring U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance. The ideal candidate will manage complex reconciliations, drive process improvements (ERP/SAP), and serve as the primary liaison for internal and external audits. Primary Responsibilities: Lead the U.S. month-end, quarterly, and year-end close; prepare/review complex journal entries, accruals, and consolidated financial statements. Manage the lifecycle of Fixed Assets (CIP, depreciation) and support Inventory/Cost functions, including variance analysis and cycle count controls. Execute multi-entity consolidations, including foreign currency translations and intercompany eliminations. Ensure adherence to SOX 404 controls and act as the primary point of contact for audit inquiries and documentation. Oversee billing and AR aging to optimize cash flow; provide detailed variance analysis on Sales, COGS, and OpEx for leadership. Drive financial process optimization and support SAP/ERP enhancement projects to increase reporting transparency. Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required, a Master’s Degree in Accounting or MBA preferred. Experience & Qualifications: CPA license strongly preferred. 6 years in corporate accounting or 2 years in Big 4/Public Audit. Mastery of U.S. GAAP, SOX, and large-scale ERPs (SAP preferred). Advanced Excel skills and the ability to present complex data to non-financial stakeholders.
