SUMMARY OF COMPANYSouthwest Shipyard, LP provides gas freeing and cleaning services, steaming, and flaring services, Barge and boat repair, Surface preparation and painting, water treatment and new construction services to the commercial and government marine industry. Southwest Shipyard owns and operates four (4) shipyards in South Texas with direct deep-water access to the Gulf of Mexico. Our motto is "Faster, Safer, Better".Title: Janitor/Groundskeeper Classification: Hourly / Non-Exempt Responsibilities:Keep all work areas clean so that the yard can work in a sanitary environment. Duties:

• Perform cleaning tasks around important work areas that reflect our presentation to the public
• Sweep floors, mop floors, restroom sanitation, and gather trash from office buildings and operational break rooms
• Maintain lawn care around the yard if advised by supervisor
• Disinfect doorknobs and perform sanitation around high traffic areas to follow our covid-19 guidelines
• Other duties as assigned Job Requirements:
  • Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to interface with all levels of management
  • Must have good judgment skills, and a high-level work initiative
  • Must be able to understand and abide by all company safety regulations and policies
  • Must be able to work independently, without direct supervision
  • Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position Physical/Environmental Requirements:
    • Operations environment requires prolonged kneeling, standing, walking, twisting, climbing, and the ability to lift and carry in excess of 50 lbs, assisted.
    • Ability to work in varied conditions (i.e.: heat, cold, rain, ice, snow, etc.), inside and outside.Must be able to work in confined space/heights and operate equipment safely and Compensation details: 17-17 Hourly WagePIa13cce0752af-31181-34388291
