Job Description:

North Houston Distribution company is seeking a Logistics Coordinator. Pay up to $39,500.

Responsibilities: Participates in the preparation and maintenance of basic reports; analyzes supplier capability; participates in make/buy studies and cost analyses. Participates in creating integrated project plans and schedules for the supply teams capital and development projects. Supports the planning and coordination of new product introductions; assess the impact and support changes to overall production schedules. Planning, coordination and execution of domestic and international orders. Work closely with multi-departments and/or cross-functional areas to troubleshoots and resolves problems on orders and invoice orders accordingly. Proactively follow up on open sales orders and expedite with Buyer as required. Work to resolve CAIDs (Customer Account in dispute) in timely manner. Will be continually challenged to resolve issues under a fast paced work environment

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

- 2+ years experience in arranging shipments

- Strong verbal and written communication, along with excellent decision making and time management skills.

- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
